Indeed... The new 'Vette is awesome... Bang for buck + sharp design + quality + relatively low cost = lots of appeal.

My neighbor and a good friend of his did that with a C5... Unfortunately at the moment I couldn't even afford half of one... though I am scheming like a Ferengi trying to figure out a plan to acquire enough Gold Pressed Latinum (read: money) to buy one.

That's cool, I think it is a good plan, as long as you are both listed on title and insurance and can afford the repairs and stuff. I would love to do that with an old car, but hardly any of my friends have cars.

C7 might be the best Corvette ever, but the formula isn't new. There are a lot of fantastic-driving used Corvettes out there — and the C7 just made them all a bit cheaper :)
